Twenty college tutors were sent to medical clinic in the wake of consuming worm infested deadly samosas on newyear day. They had bought the snacks from a restaurant in Dankaur to observe New Year. The head of the school has enrolled a body of evidence against the snacks proprietor and police are exploring the situation.

Greater Noida: Around 20 or more teachers of a degree college had to pay a heavy price for a New Year party. According to reports, approx 20 teachers of the Dronacharya Degree College in Dankaur are in hospital after consuming samosa ordered from a local sweet shop.

Case registered against sweet shop owner: Police

According to the police, Around 20 teachers of the Dronacharya Degree College decided to celebrate New Year with the local delicacy. After which they ordered 40 ‘samosa’ via the school peon from a popular local sweet shop in Dankaur. After having the snack the teachers fell sick and they are currently undergoing treatment in GIMS hospital.

Infact the samosas were stale and had poisonous worms in them that had caused severe stomach jnfection, said a police official. Reports said that many of the teachers admitted to hospital are seriously sick and having severe stomach pain and continuous vomiting which is a sign of pood poisoning . Doctors are trying their level best to give them the best possible treatment
