    Recently a petitoner filed a plea that Whatsapp and Facebook analyse behaviour of the users from the data that is collected. The petition seeking an injunction order against WhatsApp for implementing its new privacy policy claiming that “it is against the fundamental right to privacy guaranteed by the Constitution“.
    The case was listed for hearing before Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva who adjourned the hearing to January 25th saying ” its a voluntary thing. Don’t accept it”.
    Delhi HC further told the petitioner challenging , who is a lawyer by profession, challenging the new privacy policy of WhatsApp that he is free to leave the app and move to another application if he is concerned about privacy.
    In response to his plea Justice Sachdeva said: “Not only WhatsApp, all applications do that.. Do you use Google maps? Do you know it captures and shares your data?
    In its submission against this plea stating “it virtually gives a 360 degree profile into a person’s online activity”, Facebook(company that owns WharsApp) said: ” there’s a hullabaloo about nothing. WhatsApp has constantly said the messages are encrypted and even WhatsApp can’t read it. We have only made change with regard to Business WhatsApp“.

    A 46 year old worker from a hospital at moradabad UP had died yesterday he was administered the first dose of covishield vaccine produced by serum institute.

    This incidence had been confirmed by the district CMO that worker mahipal Singh had died one day after vaccination & the reason of death is heart attcack.As per union health ministry till now 447 adverse event following immunisation (AEFI) had been reported through out the country.

  • Norway vaccine tragedy. In India Odisha halts vaccination drive.

    Norway health officials are on high alert now as the ongoing covid 19 vaccine drive had led to severe reaction on elderly and till now 29 elderly persons above 75 years had died after receiving first dose of Pfizer vaccine.

    Due to this the Scandinavian country health officials are on high alert and are thoroughly monitoring all elderly before  administering them vaccine.

    In India also at Delhi yesterday the first day of vaccine drive 51 cases of adverse side effects were reported and one person was admitted to hospital ICU with severe side effects.

    State of odisha in India became the first state in the country to stop vaccination process for observing those who receive vaccine on Saturday for any side effects.This halt shall be for one day that is for sunday.From Monday onwards health officials will resume the vaccine drive again.

    The government has estimated that 30 crore people – including frontline and healthcare workers – will be vaccinated in the next three-four months.

    2) Who are not eligible for covid19 vaccination.

    Ans: pregnant or lactating women’s,all citizens below 18, those having allergic reaction to any vaccine.

    3)what General in instructions is given from Central govt to states on vaccination drive?

    Ans: I)Vaccine is not interchangeable that means if one gets first dose of covishield the the next scheduled dose must be covishield this is applicable for both brands. II) People with bleeding disorder, platelets disorder,clotting factor deficiency & coagulation disorder must be vaccinated cautiously with thorough checkup. III) Vaccine must be stored properly before use.It must be kept in +2degree to +8 degree Celsius away from light and if found frozen it should be immediately discarded.

    4) what are the side effects of covishield vaccine? Ans:

    • site tenderness; injection site pain; headache; fatigue; myalgia (muscle pain); discomfort; pyrexia (an abnormal elevation of body temperature); chills; and nausea.
    • In such cases, a paracetamol can be given, the advisory adds.
    • It also says “very rare events of demyelinating disorders” have been reported following vaccination with Covishield, “without the causal relationship establishment.”

    5)what are the side effects of caovaxin? Ans: According to Government drug regulators there are certain common side effects.

    Every year 15th of January ia celebrated as Army Day in India. On 15 January 2021 we are celebrating our 73rd Army Day to commemorate our soldiers.

    Why Army Day is Celebrated

    History of Army Day dates back to 15th January 1949 when Field Marshal Kodandera M. Cariappa took over the charge as the first Commander-In-Chief of the Indian Army from General Sir Francis Butcher, the last British Commander-In-Chief of India.

    The Additional Directorate General of Public Information, Indian Army, had informed via a tweet that the Indian Army has organised a marathonVijay Run – to commemorate Swarnim Vijay Varsh celebrations of India’s resounding victory over Pakistan in 1971, to mark the 73rd Army Day in 2021.

  • BUDGET 2021- ITR EXEMPTION LIMIT TO BE CHANGED:2.5 LAKH TO 5 LAKH.

    Income tax return (ITR) exemption limit: Middle Class taxpayers may get a very huge relief by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman as Modi govt is expected to increase the basic exemption limit from 2.5 lakh to 5 lakh & standard deduction from 50000 to 100000.

    This will relive a large segment of middle class direct tax payer and put more money in their hand which inturn will lead to higher savings and creating more immovable assets.This step if taken will also help affordable housing sector of realestate.As per reliable sources Finnace ministry officials are working regoriously to find out the actual no of middle class direct tax payers(expected around 2.5cr to 4cr)who will fall out and have zero tax liability.

    Govt is working out in it as a part of atmanirbhar Bharat initiative to help middle class segment of India to recover from covid 19 pandamic economic effect quickly. Further in budget 2020 basic exemption limit was kept unchanged for all opting for old tax slabs and for those opting for new tax slabs standard deduction is not applicable.In 2018-19 medical reimbursement and travel allowance was also removed from standard deduction. Overall since last few years there was no benefit for middle class segment direct tax part.So govt is working out to relieve a large segment of direct tax payer in this year budget season.

  • Uganda bans social media

    Just two days ahead of presidential elections Uganda government banned social media and messaging apps on Tuesday. The government had made it clear to the executives of the telecom companies that this ban is in retaliation to Facebook which had blocked some pro government accounts.

    In today’s era social media plays a very crucial role during elections as we have witnessed in case of India and the US. The International Press Institute, a global watchdog, said in a statement that Any efforts to block online access to journalists or members of the public are unacceptable breaches of the right to information.

    On Monday, Facebook had shut down several accounts linked to the country’s Ministry of Information, citing reason that it was orchestrating numerous fake and duplicate accounts to promote the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party and the President Yoweri Museveni, one of Africa’s longest serving leaders.

    The opposition frontrunner Bobi Wine, a popular singer about half the age of President Yoweri Museveni, has been using Facebook to relay live coverage of his campaigns and conferences. He accused that since most radio and TV stations are owned by government and Uganda’s leading daily is also state run many media outlets had declined to host him. Is is noteworthy that Bobi Wine had tweeted on Tuesday “The army has this morning raided my home, arrested all my security guards and anyone they could see around my premises”.

  • Welcome to India Tesla

    Finally the wait is over and the world renowned company owned by world’s second richest man Elon Musk is ready to enter India. According to a Registrar of Companies it has filed for a new entity Tesla India Motors and energy Private Limited . It is reported thatTesla has registered itself as a Company in Bengaluru with its registered office in Lavelle Road.

    Vaibhav Taneja, Venkatrangam Sreeram and David Jon Feinstein are listed as Directors of the newly formed company. As per the ROC of the Ministry of corporate Affairs the company has been incorporated as a Subsidiary of foreign Company which could be Tesla Inc.

    It is also reported that the company will first launch its fully electric Model 3 Sedan in the country which would be priced around Rs 60 lacs. Earlier in October 2020 Elon Musk himself had said in response to a question by Tesla Club India if there is an India team working on the next year for sure scheduled Tesla entry that the process to bring Tesla cars to India would begin in January 2021.

    In December Nitin Gadkari, the union Minister for road Transport and Highways confirmed that Tesla is coming to India but will first start off with sales and then look at assembly and manufacturing based on the response it receives.

    Recently Elon Musk gained first spot on Forbes World’s Richest list but soon slipped to second position behind Amazon CEO Jeff Bezoz.
